NANEMIAR Project promoted on the II Fair "Get closer to Europe in the Region of Murcia".

Last Friday, October 18, 2024, the courtyard of the Faculty of Letters, on the La Merced Campus of the University of Murcia, hosted the II Fair "Get closer to Europe in the Region of Murcia".

This second edition focused especially on bringing young people from Murcia closer to the numerous opportunities offered by the European Union, although the event was open to the general public.

Throughout the morning, attendees were able to visit the information stands located in the Patio of the La Merced Campus, where they had direct access to information and advice on scholarships, mobility programs and employment in the European area. The fair was attended by about 500 people, mainly university students, but also high school students and the general public

The FFIS-IMIB and the Murcian Health Service were also present through the International Biohealth Projects Office (IBiPO), promoting participation in European collaborative projects and Joint Actions in the biosanitary field.

All interested persons were informed about the projects currently underway, their benefits and impact on society, and were given promotional material.

NANEMIAR project was also promoted in this Fair. During the event, 50 information sheets about the project were handed out. In addition, 50 leaflets about the video of the round table with patients "When anemia cannot be treated with iron" were distributed with the QR code to facilitate access to the video available on the YouTube channel.

The fair also featured several information sessions, including a session on mobility opportunities for young people in the European Union, where programmes such as EURES, the Erasmus Programme for young entrepreneurs, as well as European Programmes managed by the Directorate General for Youth were presented: Eurodisea, European Solidarity Corps, Erasmus+: Youth and a panel of experiences of young participants.

In addition, there was an exhibition on European University Alliances, where the possibilities for mobility and international collaboration offered by initiatives such as The European University for Well-Being and The European University of Technology were addressed.
The event closed with a presentation on European associationism, where the delegation in Murcia of Equipo Europa was presented, providing a unique opportunity for those interested in actively engaging with the values ​​of the European Union.
